A Winnipegger through and through, Alfie joined our ministry staff in 2005. Having previously volunteered in our Children’s Ministry with her husband, Jamie, Alfie could see the potential to create an incredible place for children to learn about Jesus, and accepted the role of Children’s Ministry Director in 2006.
Formerly an Esthetician for 15 years, the change into ministry was a welcome one for Alfie. She has an incredible talent for empowering volunteers and leaders, and she is able to imagine creative ways to present Jesus to even the youngest of audiences. Her hope and desire is to help children understand who they are in Christ and that Jesus is their friend, that they are created for a purpose, and that church can be fun, relevant, and biblically sound.
