This weekend there were five people out at Adopt-A-Block. It was so nice out that some people even came wearing shorts! The group was able to bring a couple of lawn mowers with them.

We were able to mow eight lawns in total for the people that we got to talk to. We got to have some conversations with some of the people on the blocks and picked up some garbage off their lawns. Once again we had people wanting to donate to the Church and we just explained that we are not doing these acts of kindness for donations, but simply want to bless the people in our community.

There were a number of people out at Adopt-A-Block this weekend to help out. The group headed out and was able to clean up a bit more garbage as they went knocking on doors.

There were several people who asked about us hauling a bunch of their junk away with the trailer.  Sadly enough we are not able to take the trailer out with us every Saturday, but we let them know that we will be bringing the trailer around the blocks soon and we can take their junk then.

Come and join us this Saturday as we have loads of fun talking to our neighbors and helping them meet their needs.

This weekend there were three people that made it out to Adopt-A-Block. They headed out with bags and rakes and were able to rake several lawns, including a house that left a note for us to rake their lawn.

There were about three houses on the two blocks where we were able to meet some new people who had never had us knock on their door before. We were able to connect with them for a bit and were glad that we had stopped by to lend a helping hand.

It’s always exciting to see what God has for us each and every Saturday. Why don’t you come out with us and see what Adopt-A-Block is all about?

There were only two people that showed up for Adopt-A-Block on Saturday. They let people know that they did not have the manpower to do work, but that they were willing to pray for anyone who needed it.

The two talked to people who answered their doors and were able to get rid of a table for someone who wanted it gone.
