At 11 years old, Ashima is redefining what’s possible in climbing. She sees things others don’t. She tries things others won’t. And she does things no one can. Watching this video leaves people to wonder, “Is she a superhero?”
Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” In other words, in one way or the other we’re like Ashima. Only for us it’s probably not climbing, God promises us that there is something unique and important for each one of us to do.
It’s our job, our quest really, to discover what that is for us. You’ll know it when you find it. But until then, keep looking.
