Wouldn’t it be fun to work with those guys? Who knows if they get any work done but they certainly have a good time!
Sometimes when talking about loving one another as believers our imagination limits that to sappy expressions of love. (Holding hands, boisterous hugs, silly songs, etc.) And yet, the love found in a good friendship is filled with every kind of emotion. Certainly, there are times when a friendship is quiet, reflective, and intimate. But other times love for one another is hilarious fun and loud!
Three questions:
- What’s the difference between pranking a friend and picking on a friend?
- Why do you think Jesus tells us we should have Christian friends?
- Would you rather have 100 good friends or 1 best friend?
Chew on this:
In 1 Peter 1:22, the Bible says that love for one another should sincere and from the heart. Why is it so easy to be sincere with friends who aren’t Christ followers and so hard to be sincere with friends who follow Jesus?
