What Would You Do?

It is difficult to share, minister or show love when you know that it will not be received.  It is even more challenging when you know that your actions will be defiantly resisted. What do we do in those situations?  This is what Moses faced.  In Exodus chapter 5, the Children of Israel and Pharaoh were all aligned against Moses because of the Word of the Lord which he declared. Moses went before God with the burden of being resisted.  In Exodus  chapter 6 God encourages Moses with the declaration of what He would do to Pharaoh (vs 1) and by rehearsing the promise of how He would deliver the Israelites. Even after again speaking on behalf of God the scripture says, “but they (the Israelites)did not heed Moses, because of anguish of spirit and cruel bondage.” (Exodus 6:9).

If you have done what you thought God wanted you to do and if it is not going well, what do you do?  We act as Moses did, we go before the Lord and lay the situation before our great God.  Then we let God work in the situations in His way.
