Missions
Church of the Rock’s Mission Program consists of a broad spectrum of involvements. Some, such as short term mission trips, are designed to expose people to the heart and nature of missions, while doing practical missions/outreach events. Other aspects of ministry include supporting, through prayer and finances (and ministry-oriented visits), those who are already in the field.

SHORT-TERM MISSIONS TRIPS
1. Mexico - A great first step is to join one of the teams we take down to Mexico for a short-term mission experience. The trips include building houses, renovating churches, planting gardens, teaching practical skills, ministering to children, evangelistic services, special medical missions, and ministry in the schools. Generally three 10-day trips to Mexico are planned each year.
2. Uganda - For the last few of years we have had the privilege of sending teams to Uganda to participate in construction projects, teaching, ministering to children and adults and many more missions activities. Please contact us if you would like more information about joining our next team.
Mission trips are also occasionally planned for other Canadian or International destinations.

MISSIONARIES/ORGANIZATIONS SUPPORTED BY CHURCH OF THE ROCK
Church of the Rock places a high priority on Missions as part of Christ’s command to go into all the world and make disciples. We have an annual “Pie Auction” event to raise money for specific projects, but the generosity of our people is evident through ongoing giving and response to needs as they arise.
