Overcomers In Christ
Using both the Celebrate Recovery and Life's Healing Choices material, Overcomers in Christ is a Christ-centered recovery program that helps people overcome their hurts, habits & hang-ups. It uses 8 biblical principles based on Matthew 5:3-10, and 12 biblical steps to recovery.
Everyone is welcome to the group. We know that everyone has faced some hurt, habit, or hang-up which includes things like alcoholism, depression, sexual addiction, food addiction, grief, gambling addiction, divorce, anger, codependency, drug addiction, workaholism, same-gender attraction, or any other hurt, habit, or hang-up.
This group realizes that lasting, peaceful recovery only comes by relying on the only true higher power, Jesus Christ. Through openness and transparency, participants will have the opportunity to deal with life in a supportive, non-judgemental environment. They will have the opportunity to practice principles taught in this class and receive healing and restoration.
We meet every Wednesday at 7:00pm.
The following testimonials are from people who have attended Overcomers in Christ.
"They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony." - Rev 12:11a NIV
