As our receptionist, Lynnely is the first smiling face you will see when you visit the offices of our Winnipeg South Campus.
Lynnely first came to Winnipeg at the age of 18 to attend university. A long way from her home of Malawi, Southern Africa, Lynnely started attending Engage (young adults) at Church of the Rock, and after a couple years became a home group leader! When she graduated with her Global Political Economics degree in 2019, Lynnely had already started volunteering as the Young Adults Coordinator at Church of the Rock, which had become her second family. When the church receptionist position became open, she knew it was an answer to prayer, and jumped at it!
A real “people person,” Lynnely’s smile is a ray of sunshine for staff and visitors alike. During the COVID shutdown, she graciously agreed to step into the online role of Backstage Pass Host, and continues in this role today.
