So we are right in the middle of our 40 Days of prayer campaign and it’s been great learning how to grow in our prayer life with God in our services and small groups. Here’s an update of what is coming up at Church of the Rock Niverville:
Daylight Savings Time – This Sunday
Don’t be late for church! We spring our clocks forward on Saturday night. We lose an hour of sleep but gain the hope of warmer weather soon!
Pie Auction – April 7
On April 7 at Church of the Rock Niverville, we will be having a special service which is a yearly Church of the Rock tradition. It’s our annual Pie Auction where we have a lot of fun making/buying/eating pies and raising money for amazing mission projects across the world in the 10/40 Window. Last year, across all our campuses at Church of the Rock, we raised over $224,000 all for missions!!! Our goal for Church of the Rock Niverville this year is to raise $15,000 in our service. So we need your help in one (or both!) of the areas below:
1) Creating your best pie/cake creation to be sold at the auction on April 7
2) Getting ready to pay more than you ever thought you would pay for a pie, knowing that your generous gift is going to spread the good news of Jesus to some of the most unreached areas of our world! We will have opportunities for people to give at all levels.
Women’s Brunch – March 16
There will be a Ladies Potluck Brunch hosted by Marcia, on Saturday March 16 @ 9:30 a.m. at 139 Church Street.
All women are welcome to come and connect – just bring your favorite brunch food to share!
Live Preaching – March 24
Lastly, just a heads up that on Sunday March 24, I’m excited to be able to share a message on the topic of Joy!
