Advancing Missions in the 10/40 Window

Join us as we raise funds to support the spread of the Gospel!

The 2020 Missions Pie Auction will be taking place  after each of the service at our campuses on different dates, as follows:”

  • Winnipeg South – Saturday/Sunday, March 14/15, 2020
  • North End – Sunday, March 15, 2020
  • Bronx Park – Sunday, March 22, 2020
  • Niverville – Sunday, March 29, 2020
  • Winnipeg West – Sunday, April  5, 2020

Here’s where the funds are going

@Bronx Park – MARCH 22, 2020

The Pie Auction will be part of our 10:25 AM regular service, with a focus on Missions to reach the 10/40 Window.

AUCTION DAY EVENTS

Main Auction to begin during the service
  • purchased pies can be picked up at Auction Payment Station

Silent Auction (bids starting at $80)

  • bidding area at tables at the back  of the gym
  • purchased pies can be picked up at Auction Payment Station

Buy It Now!

  • purchase in the Foyer near the front doors
  • Buy a box of cinnamon buns for $70

Pie by the Slice (with whipped topping) $10 a slice

  • In the Hobnob Cafe

Calorie Free

  • donate to the cause (any amount!)
  • *mark “10/40 Window” on your donation envelope
  • Extra donation envelopes are available at the Pay Stations

Cupcakes for a Cause (for kids!)

  • KIDS, buy a cupcake in the Hobnobs Cafe by donating your loose change. All proceeds go to missions!

How do I donate a dessert masterpiece for the Pie Auction?

  • Make your pie/cake/dessert masterpiece(s) or purchase something extra special
  • On auction day bring your dessert/pie to the Registration Desk near the Welcome Centre before 10 AM to be registered. Please remember to bring a completed pre-registration form for each dessert (which are available for pick-up at the Welcome Centre.) This will make the process go smoother and faster
  • Include a list of any food-related allergy ingredients with your dessert/pie
  • We may place the donated item in either the Silent Auction or Stage Auction, depending on quantity of items we receive.
  • Preferably make your dessert in a disposable or donated container, since you won’t have access to it once it has been sold (cake boxes are available at various craft and bulk foods stores)

NOTE: Your masterpiece will need to be held at room temperature for up to 3 hours.

@North End – MARCH 15, 2020

The Pie Auction will be part of our 11:00 AM regular service, with a focus on Missions to reach the 10/40 Window.

There are ways for EVERYONE to participate!

  • Silent Auction – $$
  • Buy It Now! – $10
  • Pie by the Slice – $2 each with ice cream
  • Cupcakes – $1 each
  • Donate pies or cakes for the above – PRICELESS!

How do I donate a dessert masterpiece for the Pie Auction?

  • Make your pie/cake/dessert masterpiece(s) or purchase something special (minimum 10”)
  • Bring your item to the Registration table in the foyer  ON AUCTION DAY BEFORE the service
  • Include a list of any food-related allergy ingredients with your dessert/pie
  • Preferably make your dessert in a disposable or donated container, since you won’t have access to it once it has been sold (cake boxes are available at craft and bulk foods stores)

The Pie Auction will be part of each of our weekend services (Saturday 5:25 PM and Sunday 9:25 AM or 11:25 AM), with a focus on Missions to reach the 10/40 Window.
