Ninety years ago, Aldous Huxley predicted a world where people were technologically advanced, socially indoctrinated and pharmaceutically anesthetized to obey an authoritarian government. Monogamy, individuality and freedom of thought and expression were forbidden. He foresaw a Utopian, pleasure-seeking world that was so deeply flawed that no one in their right mind would want it. In this series Pastor Mark pulls back that veil on our modern culture to reveal that Huxley got it all right.
More importantly, the series reminds us that the church already possesses the remedy to all that afflicts us, and that can be found in the biblical principles of grace, forgiveness, love, faithfulness in marriage, spiritual freedom etc. It should make a for great small group discussion.
