Jesus loves everyone.

Talk About the Bible Story

Jesus and the Children

Open the Bible together and read Luke 18:15-16 or watch the video together on the Parent Cue app.

MEMORY VERSE

“Be kind and loving to each other.”

Ephesians 4:32, NCV

Engagement Questions

  • Who does Jesus love?
  • Jesus loves little children. Name some children Jesus loves.

Prayer

“Dear God, thank You for sending Jesus to love [child's name]. Please help [child’s name] love others the way you love them. We love You, God. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

ENGAGE IN EVERYDAY MOMENTS TOGETHER

Morning Time

When you go into your child’s room, cuddle them and say: "Good morning, [child's name]! Do you know how much Jesus loves children? Jesus loves children so much He told His disciples to let the children come to Him."

Drive Time

While on the go, take turns saying: "Jesus loves [child's name]." Remember, you can only use the names of children. When you're done, talk about how Jesus told His disciples to let the children come to Him because Jesus loves all children.

Cuddle Time

Cuddle with your child and pray: "God, I can imagine children running up to see Jesus and Jesus opening His arms and telling everyone to let the children come to Him. Thank You for showing us that children are important and You love them."

Bath Time

Use bath crayons to practice drawing hearts together. Each time you draw a heart, say: "Jesus loves me!" Then, when you pick your child up to get them out of the tub, say: "One, two, three! Jesus loves ME!"
