Elementary – Kindergarten to Grade 4
Our elementary-aged kids will be a part of a Large Group/Small Group experience.
We believe the Bible should never be boring! During large group time your child will hear, see, taste, and be a part of God’s Big Story. Each month we focus on a virtue (peace, honesty, honour, gratitude, trust, etc.) and teach a Bible story that embraces such virtues. The teaching is always high energy, creative and relevant.
After that, it’s small group time! This environment is set up for kids to see how God’s Word fits in to their lives, to learn how to talk to Him and to serve Him. Kids make friends and get connected with a caring, consistent leader.
Before they leave us, our goal is for these 3 things to stick:
- I need to make the wise choice.
- I can trust God no matter what.
- I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
Joshua’s Friends – Special Needs
Kidz Rock does not have a separate program for children with special needs, but we do want to work to accommodate your child if possible.
If you child has needs that we are not able to meet with our regular team of volunteers, after completing the Joshua’s Friends Parent Questionnaire, we will look for a one-on-one buddy for your child. Until a buddy is found, you will be asked to stay with your child during the class.
