Kidz Rock Parents

The first time you bring a child to Kidz Rock, you will be asked to fill out our Kidz Rock registration form. This is information that we will ask you to reconfirm annually before our fall season gets underway.

Kidz Rock Parent’s Guide

 Washrooms

Please take your child to the washroom before coming to class. If your child should need to use the washroom during class, you will be paged to come assist him/her.

 Call Codes

Understand our tag system. If your child should need you during the service, the tag code will be displayed at the edge of the video screen.

 Check-In tags

Children will not be released to a parent without showing the matching parent tag. If you lose the parent tag, a Kidz Rock leader will need to verify your relationship to the child by showing a suitable piece of I.D. We take the safety of your children very seriously and ask that you comply with our policy.

 In Case of Illness

Please do not bring your child to Kidz Rock if they are ill and/or contagious. We do not administer medication to any children. If your child is required to carry an EpiPen with them at all times, you will need to give written and oral instruction to their teacher or small group leader each and every time you drop off the child.

Joshua’s Friends – Special Needs

*Available currently at Winnipeg South or North End campuses.

Kidz Rock does not have a separate program for children with special needs, but we do want to work to accommodate your child if possible.

If you child has needs that we are not able to meet with our regular team of volunteers, after completing the Joshua’s Friends Parent Questionnaire, we will look for a one-on-one buddy for your child. Until a buddy is found, you will be asked to stay with your child during the class.
